Artist Statement

This collection of works explores the interactions between art, developmental psychology, and the natural world. Interactive elements, such as a block puzzle, invite viewers to solve or create their own environments using painted wooden blocks. The framed pieces reflect experiences with nature; each canvas has been infused with natural materials, priming it with energy before any mark-making.
